We at CT Learning take pride in the workplace training courses we offer. Our dedicated team of trainers work to teach you content that is approved by the respective awarding bodies. This ensures that the workplace training courses we teach and the qualifications you gain remain compliant and up to date. It also provides a guarantee that you are learning the most current techniques and best practices for workplace safety.
Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual)
Adult Learning in the UK is overseen by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). This is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England and vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland. It is their duty to ensure all learners get the results they deserve and that your qualifications are correctly valued and understood, now and in the future.
Being recognised by Ofqual means that we, as a training provider, maintain the national standards in each subject from year to year.
Keeping workplaces compliant with regulatory requirements, we offer courses recognised or accredited by the following awarding bodies:
Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) is a UK government organisation with overall responsibility for workplace health and safety. Responsible for the enforcement, guidance and best practice of workplace safety, the HSE closely monitors regulations being applied in workplaces.
Providing advice, information and guidance on workplace health and safety, the HSE support courses being offered through training bodies, such as our team at CT Learning.
We at CT Learning offer the following HSE recognised qualifications:
The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH)
With origins dating back to 1876, the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) is now the longest established public health body in the UK.
Following the merger of The Royal Society of Health (RSH) with The Royal Institute of Public Health (RIPH) in 2008, the RSPH was formed. This institution supports training providers like us to educate and maintain the legal requirements to maintain public safety.
The expertise and input from a wide variety of health practitioners have given the RSPH its status as an Awarding Body for health-related qualifications.
We are approved by the RSPH to offer qualifications in:
The UK’s National Fire Safety Organisation
We are a corporate member of The UK’s National Fire Safety Organisation, one of the awarding bodies that support part of our training services. The Fire Protection Association (FPA) works to draw awareness and attention to the dangers of fire in the workplace. Working with training providers such as our team, the FPA aims to increase fire safety nationwide.
Starting up in 1946, the FPA has gained a reputation for quality work in the pursuit of protection of people, property, business and the environment in regards to fire risks.
Our fire safety instructors are FPA qualified.
Qualifications Network (QNUK)
Involved with regulated qualifications since 2005, the Qualifications Network (QNUK) is a leading awarding body regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA Regulation in Northern Ireland.
The QNUK is the first awarding body to prioritise first aid and fire safety training. By supporting national training providers, they have created a national network that ensures all safety training providers remain closely connected and offers the best national qualification.
